Sharing Your Voice Activates Your Truth

Sharing your voice is an essential component in truly allowing yourself to understand who you are. Sharing your voice activates your truth; activating your truth enables your wisdom.

We spend so much time in the mind; too much time there can support a disconnection with our core self which we recognise and relate to through the body – our responses and the natural flex and flow of energy we notice as we respond and react to life and to ourselves.

As business owners, sharing our voice is a key part of helping people to get to know who we are but as individuals, it is essential too because without sharing our voice we don’t ‘hear’ how that resonates through our body.

Affirmations can be an easy example to use – when you say an affirmation that you truly believe, you feel a resonance within the body when you say it out loud (its truth vibrates within you). An affirmation that isn’t felt through you as you speak it, is not going to do very much! It’s the same when we share with people who we are and what we do – how many times do you fluff your way through explaining who you are and how you help and support your clients with none of it really hitting the mark – none of it resonating through the body as you’re saying it (rather it comes from the mind and the ‘thought’). I know I’ve been there!

Our voice is key in helping us activate our truth because when you start to share who you are, what you believe in, your values, what really matters to you…you start to own what you say in a way you don’t when you are simply thinking it.

As you start to own what you are saying, you also start to recognise where you truly mean what you are saying and where you are saying the words which sound nice or right, but don’t actually have any resonance within you.

Our voice is our most innate healing and empowerment tool (along with the breath) – sound moves energy, which is why sound healing is so powerful, and your voice activates your truth when you start to use it – when you start to use it more fully and with greater courage and freedom.

On an energetic level, you are saying to yourself that you are willing to commit to who you are and so as you explore using your voice more fully, you start to understand you, and what is true for you with greater clarity. You step into a deeper understanding of who you are and you start to recognise where what you thought you believed is actually not what is true for you. The resonance of the voice doesn’t lie – there is a connection, a depth, an anchor which is present within the voice when you are speaking something which is fully and completely true for you.

Of course, truth is subjective. My truth will not be your truth; my truth now will not be my truth of ten years ago or my truth in ten years time, and indeed my truth is not the truth. And yet, as an intrinsic part of the whole – as a piece of the divine jigsaw puzzle, my truth matters for it informs the whole, as does your truth.

Without activating our truth (understanding who we are in this moment and what is true for us right now), we cannot access the wisdom within us and we cannot enable the application of that wisdom. Truth lends the ability to enable wisdom because there are no illusions, there is nothing you are trying to be, denying being or fighting to be which might detract from understanding the right action, for the right reason. Truth lends the ability to enable wisdom because it supports your experiences informing you from an objective perspective and being able to apply that learning as you move forward.

Truth enables you to discern the wisdom and then apply it.

You cannot seek wisdom for it simply is. You cannot learn to be wise – you become it as you sit back in the truth of who you are and perceive yourself, life and all of its experiences from a different perspective.

Yet truth starts and activates from sharing your voice.

Who are you?

If you don’t yet know, then let your voice show you, let your voice tell you…

Let your voice activate your truth and as it does, be willing to stand in that with confidence and courage and wisdom will find you.
